Except for the fact that character data is stored locally. Either they're going to have to change that or hacks will ultimately ruin the game for everyone else.

| ...So is almost every other online RPG I can think of...Diablo series, TQ/IT, HGL, etc...there's nothing wrong with having your character data. Hacks can happen, yes, but there are also hackers out the wazoo in D2 and people STILL play ladder in that game. Besides, just make the game private and play with people you know. It really isn't a big deal, QQ'ing about hackers doesn't solve anything. |
