| If you need a nice tiddy way to get around school, use tor. It's a little slow, but it comes in handy, especially since the network Nazi's at my school have decided that Wikipedia has questionable content.. |

| https://www.proxy.org most school fire walls now have proxy filters on them like the one at my shcool but when u put the s at the end of https it usally works. |

wow no where in godzukis sticky did he mention https://www.ultrareach.net thats my fav, schools cant block a safe one, plus they dont know about it

| i know how u guys feel...i have been tryn 4 months 2 find a site so i could go on myspace...i know it sounds lame but...well...im teachers aid in computers and no1 needs any help so i would like 2 go on it...but if any 1 can find a way 2 go on it 4 me dat would be great.. |

i know everyones tiard of me saying how great knoppix is but if u just boot the computer with knoppix it will work if u try to go to my space no problem i suggest 3.8 or std google search download and burn as iso image to disk and boot from that and u can go strait there good luck
ps how is it lame to be teachers aid in computers i fix the computers at my school and get payed for it |

uhhh, no. Unless they have client-side software, that won't work. The vast majority of filtering systems for schools are sever side, and all this will let you do it see the his-site-blocked message in linux.
Proxies re the way to go, knoppix usually doesn't do dittily. |

its lame for me because all i do is help kids...and it gets boring after a awhile...and they dont pay...but anybody find a way |
