hey, this is my first post here, and since i'm new and haven't proved myself, i'm sure it will be passed up by many.
now, this topic isn't really phreaking but its something i'd like to research and improve on.

my question: (detailed and not obblivious, just the way you want them)
okey, since i know the threat is real on stalkers & ect, i started searching on people that put their phone number in profile/away message (mostly blonde girls), well, usually i'd come up with their parents names and address, to show them how easy it would be for a stalker to find their address and that they should be more careful. my methods inclued
listed numbers=google.com
unlisted numbers= (very rarely i'd find them on aol's white pages)

this has worked very well and i got many people to stop listing their phonenumber in their aim profile.... but! i still can't find most unlisted numbers and cell phone numbers.
here is where i would like a helping start on researching cell phone and unlisted numbers. any web sites/ tuts will be awsome.

thanks for your help!

hey... i'm new to phreaking

well from what ive done as far as searchen.
i havent had any luck on unlisted numbers. its suppost to be like that tho so its not like were missen out.
now cell phones.
i havent tryed to search them because im sure its an imposibility unless you have someone on a sys comp. cell numbers-to-owners change often normaly every2 yrs or so manybe soon if thiers a problem. now inorder to keep a list the list would have to be updated everyday or so unlike home numbers witch dont change at all unless you have them changed.

For phone #s you can't get, use a little social engineering: send them an email saying you desperately need them to call you(fake like you are their ISP) or say that you need a bit of info for confirmation before you can proceed with sending them their bill.

Calling Customer Name and Address (CNA) would be a first-level lookup for unlisted numbers, then you could go even higher and social engineer MLAC-- getting even their cable and pair numbers. You could also hack/access any of the OSSs on the internet that allow you reverse lookup a number for billing-purposes. BellSouth has quite a few, and I believe Verizon has VTAGS-- we've got a file on VTAGS coming up on our site soon, if you would like to wait for an overview of the system.

It's harder to come by, but if you can get your local BNA (Billing Name and Address) office, you can get information that sometimes CNA won't provide. I'd never heard of BNA until we stumbled across it while trashing. I guess most of the phone co. hadn't heard of it either, because they told us that we were the only ones that called.

I don't think we know each other, although I hang out with the 303 crowd.

Well, it'd help if I had a current screen name in my profile. :) The one to use is 'edisonTNO' *not* 'edison303' which is now defunct. I'll look forward to hooking up.
